In these difficult times, elective surgeries and in-office appointments have been put on hold in accordance with the latest guidelines from the CDC. However, this period is the perfect time for you to remotely collaborate with our physicians in order to discuss any questions and plan your future procedures.
What does a virtual visit or “telemedicine” mean?
During these unprecedented times, expert care is still within reach. Our patients can schedule a virtual visit and connect with one of our physicians from the comfort of their home.
This is a remote consult and is perfect for first consultations, check-ups and follow-up meetings. We will be able to assess your situation and provide professional advice and next steps.
What type of equipment is required?
You do not need to be tech-savvy! You simply need a computer or mobile device with the camera enabled, along with a strong internet connection.
Before your telemedicine visit, we can provide you with a guide sheet that will walk you through each step of the call. You can expect normal intake procedures and documentation requirements, so be prepared to attend as if you were attending a physical consult!
Can I still schedule physical appointments?
In accordance with the latest guidelines from the CDC, we have stopped in-person appointments for non-urgent procedures. We will continue to update our patients about the availability of in-office appointments as the situation develops.
